okay this is dumb but um i've been telling everyone i'm fine all week and i'm not really i'm just tired of explaining it

Your journal — written by Olivia

Tired of explaining it.

I've been telling everyone I'm fine all week. I'm not, really. I'm just tired of explaining it.

Olivia will remembertelling everyone I'm fine·tired of explaining

How Thoughtroom works

  1. 01

    Talk

Two minutes, however it comes out. Nothing to type, nothing to start.

  2. 02

    Read

By the time you stop talking, it's a written entry in your words.

  3. 03

    Return

Tomorrow, Olivia remembers what today was about.

From voice to journal

Say it messy.
Read it clean.

Speech comes out in fragments — half sentences, backtracking, tangents. Thoughtroom keeps what you meant and writes it the way you'll want to reread it.

  • Tidied, not rewritten. They stay your words.

  • Tangents are welcome. They're often the real entry.

  • Eighteen seconds counts. So does ten minutes.

okay so um i keep thinking about the meeting like i said one thing wrong and uh everyone noticed i think they noticed i don't know anyway mom called after and she could tell something was off she always can and yeah talking to her helped i guess

Your journal — written by Olivia

Mom could tell.

I keep replaying the meeting — one wrong sentence, and I'm sure everyone noticed. Mom called after; she could tell something was off. She always can. Talking to her helped.

Nothing invented, nothing lost — the entry is built only from what you said.

Olivia writing the finished entry

Olivia remembers

Tell her once.
She keeps the thread.

Every entry connects to the people, worries and goals from the ones before it. When something changes, Olivia says so.

You never have to explain yourself twice.

Yesterday

I think I ruined things with Sarah.

Today

Sarah texted. We talked. We're okay.

Olivia

That changed fast. Yesterday you thought you'd lost her.

Patterns become Threads.

When a topic keeps coming back, it gets a page of its own.

Private Mode

The AI runs on your iPhone.
Nothing leaves it.

Cloud mode already keeps your journal private. Private Mode goes further: transcription, writing and Olivia herself all move onto your phone. There is nothing to upload, so nothing is uploaded. It works in airplane mode.

  • Transcribed on your iPhone

Your voice never leaves the device.

  • Written on your iPhone

The entry is composed by on-device AI.

  • Olivia answers on your iPhone

    Chat runs locally, memory included.

  • Stored on your iPhone

    Private entries never sync anywhere.

Private Mode runs on supported iPhones.

Session Letter

Walk into your session with the month in hand.

Before therapy, Thoughtroom folds your recent entries into one page: what came up, what changed, what might be worth discussing. Share it with your therapist, or just read it in the waiting room.

What came up

Work felt heavy again — mostly the afternoons.

What changed

The situation with Sarah feels resolved.

Worth discussing

Why protecting time still feels difficult.

Share as PDF — or keep it to yourself. Each section can be hidden before sharing.

Thoughtroom supports reflection. It is not therapy.

Before you ask

You might be wondering.

Who can read my journal?

You. Entries sync privately to your account so you don't lose them with your phone. In Private Mode they never leave your iPhone at all — there is no copy anywhere else.

What happens to my voice recordings?

They exist to become your entry. Private entries are transcribed and written entirely on-device. Your recordings are never used to train AI models.

Is Olivia a therapist?

No, and she doesn't pretend to be. She helps you reflect, remember, and prepare. The Session Letter exists so your real sessions go deeper.

What does it cost?

$9.99 a month or $59.99 a year, after seven free days. Private Mode on its own is a $9.99 one-time purchase.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone. Private Mode's on-device AI needs a recent model — the app tells you before you buy anything.

Can I take my journal and leave?

Yes. Export everything at any time. Deleting your account deletes all of it — entries, memory, audio.

The next entry is
two minutes away.
